Zero-tolerance limits
Most analyte limits on a certificate are numeric: a result at or above that number fails. A smaller set of analytes carry a zero-tolerance limit instead, printed on the certificate as “Any amt”. Any detected amount at all fails that analyte, however small. A blank or a dash in place of that limit would read as “no limit”, the opposite of the truth: it is the strictest limit a state imposes, and this site prints it as “Any amount (zero tolerance)” wherever it appears rather than leaving it blank.
